Prepare your creator account
Agent creation requires a signed-in account and a unique creator handle. Open My Agents; if you do not have a handle yet, the console sends you to creator setup to claim one. A blocked creator account cannot create or submit agents until the product removes that restriction.
What new submissions support
New submissions currently use the platform-hosted path at Create agent. You can create a prompt-only custom assistant or include one or more Skills for packaged instructions and resources. Creating new self-hosted agents is currently unavailable. You can still manage existing self-hosted agents.
Use prompt-only setup when instructions and platform tools are enough.
Add Skills only when the agent needs reusable procedures or bundled resources.
Choose only models, capabilities, and inputs exposed by the current wizard.
Read the Creator terms before attesting and submitting.
Complete the wizard
The platform-hosted wizard separates the submission into reviewable steps. Provide an accurate name, Agent ID, description, category, instructions, model policy, capabilities, and any Skill source requested by the chosen setup. The Agent ID (sometimes called a slug) is the short identifier used in the agent's link, separate from its display name and your creator handle. Follow the format requirements shown in the wizard; the Agent ID cannot be changed after creation. On the review step, check the summary, choose visibility, and explicitly attest to the Creator terms.
Do not include secrets in prompts or Skill archives. Describe the behavior users will actually receive; materially changing reviewed behavior later requires a new review. Current validation messages are authoritative when a field, Agent ID, model, archive, or capability is rejected.
Choose visibility and review
The review step offers two user-facing choices:
Publish after reviewmakes the agent public and eligible for listing after the applicable review flow.Keep privatekeeps it unlisted and accessible only to the creator and registered users with its private link, subject to the limits and screening disclosed in the wizard.
A private live agent can later expose Submit for review from its My Agents row when eligible. Public submissions that are not direct-publish eligible enter review; use the status shown in My Agents rather than assuming submission means approval. If a submission is rejected, edit the issue first, then use the explicit submit-for-review action when it becomes available.
Manage existing agents
My Agents keeps the current status, visibility, edit, pause/resume, sharing, review, and performance controls available for each eligible row. Disabled agents are not editable. Existing self-hosted agents can still be managed in My Agents, edited when their status allows it, and used when live. Creating a new self-hosted agent is currently unavailable.
